The clean and maintenance steps of two kinds of coolers of screw air compressor
Water cooling cooler
Shut the compressor down and release the pressure. Turn off the power switch.
Open the bellmouth and clean the cover plate or remove the cooling fan.
Blow away dirt with compressed air. If it is too dirty, you can use an oil based agent to clean away excess buildup. When the method above is ineffective, you need to remove the cooling fan and soak or use a power washer with cleaning liquid and scrub with a brush (no wire brushes).
Reinstall the cover plate and cooling fan.
Oil Cooler
Shut the compressor down and release the pressure. Turn off the power switch.
Open the inlet and outlet pipe.
Fill the pipe with cleaning liquid or use the pump to scour the unit cycled. (Backwash is most effective)
Rinse with clean water.
Blow it dry with dry air or use dehydrated oil for dewatering.
